“Nearly fifty years after his untimely death, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy continue to challenge us to live up to the ideals this nation were founded upon: justice, equality, and freedom. With God as his guide and a commitment to nonviolence, King recruited people from all walks of life to help champion the Civil Rights Movement, including athletes and entertainers. King Maker brings to the forefront the leadership secrets of Dr. King that are needed for today.”
